Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings - Rates
All Bookings made on Aneroussa Beach Hotel are subject to these Terms & Conditions. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking.
All rates are quoted in Euro and are inclusive of 13% VAT and all applicable taxes, except for the stay-over tax, which is EUR 1.50 per night and we are obliged by law to invoice separately upon check-out. All rates are subject to change without notice.
2. Deposits and payments
For the confirmation of a booking, a deposit of 30% of the booking is required with a minimum of 1-night stay.
We accept the following methods of payment: cash payments, bank deposits, Paypal, Credit/Debit cards Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Upon your arrival, please let us know if you will require an invoice for your stay.
The deposit shall be made within 2 days from your booking; otherwise, the booking shall be cancelled without prior notice. No booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided.
In credit/debit card transactions you authorize the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us. We shall have the right to require full payment in advance in certain circumstances or if the booking includes certain items or services.
Evidence of payment shall be provided to the Hotel 3 days prior to your arrival either by fax or email.
Non-Refundable rates or discount offers are special lower prices paid at the time of the booking, with no refund option.
The balance of your Booking (room rate, VAT, stay-over tax and any service charge) shall be paid in full at the time of your check-in. During your stay, we will keep track of the incidentals charged to your room on a daily basis. All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel.
3. Modification, Cancellation and No-Show Policies
We kindly ask our guests to inform us as soon as possible for possible changes or cancellations of their Booking.
In general, the cancellation policy for hotels is as follows:
- The normal rates are cancellable up to 21 days before arrival without a charge and any deposits will be refunded in full.
- If cancelled or modified later, until the day of the check-in, 30% of the total price of the Booking will be charged.
- In case of cancellation or modification after the check-in or in case of no-show, the 100% of the Booking cost will be charged.
Very occasionally we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances, you will be given a full refund, but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to our Hotel.
For rates marked as “Non-refundable”, we require full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the booking which is non-refundable and the Booking non-changeable.
Pre-payment is charged either via bank deposit or to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.
We reserve the right to charge 100% of your Booking for no-shows without prior notification.
Your Booking is for a class of room in the Hotel and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay. If we need to move you to a different room during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.
4. Check-in/ Check-out
At the time of check-in, guests will be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference and the appropriate ID, along with the card they booked.
Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, guests may check-in at any time from 14:00 hrs. on the scheduled day of arrival.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 hrs. (unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking). Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged as follows:
- Check out until 20:00 hrs. – An extra charge of half-day will apply
- Check out later than 20:00 hrs. – A full day will be charged
5. Children
Children up to the age of 4 years old are accommodated free of charge if they use their parent's beds. Cots and extra beds are available. However, these are limited and subject to availability, so please ensure that you ask for at the time of booking.
All children staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

7. Pets
We are sorry but no pets are allowed at the Hotel.
8. Guest Conduct
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred
9. Damage
We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.
10. Personal Information
All personal information stored and used by us is done so in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on request.
11. Force Majeure
The Company accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, water, or other utility services, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
12. Limitation of Liability
Guests are responsible throughout their stay at the hotel for the safekeeping of their personal and/ or valuables, money, etc. The Hotel shall accept no liability for loss, destruction or damage, except in case of intent or gross negligence. It is highly recommended that upon arrival at the hotel, guests lock up their valuables in their room safe or in a safe deposit box at Reception for safekeeping, taking a receipt for this. By presenting that receipt upon departure or any time they wish, they may recollect their items from the Reception. In any other case, the hotel shall not be liable for any loss or destruction. The hotel is exempted from any liability if the loss or damage sustained due to negligence of the customer or other persons residing with him or visits him. Also, the hotel will not be liable if the damage, destruction or loss due to force majeure (earthquake, fire etc.) or any extraordinary nature. The hotel is entitled to refuse items of exceptional character.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Contract and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with it are governed by Greek law.
The Greek Courts of Cyclades Prefecture have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising in connection with the Contract, including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations.
14. Accuracy of Information
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information on the websites, brochures, flyers and advertisements, the Hotel does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured without notice. Please note that in certain circumstances, generic photographic images have been used to represent the general style of a particular room.
